I AM THE HUMAN

Of one of the many questions,
The one that tests my patience;
Is that, “what have I done
So that I could be a fair human?”
Of all the living beings on earth,
Only I was blessed to give birth;
To the actual heaven,
Because who am I? I am the human.

These animals are what?
These birds are what?
I demolished them in such a manner,
That they are now called extinct and endanger;
I have killed them for fun,
Because who am I? I am the human.

I get pleasure in ending the civilizations,
And in ruining developing nations;
Success is prime to me,
For which I can betray him and thee;
I do not lament on what I have done,
Because who am I? I am the human.

God loves me very much,
Because I have built temple, mosque and church;
By ruining childish joys,
By silencing youth’s voice;
I created my own empire,
By sucking humanity like vampire;
I am the king of assassination,
Because who am I? I am the human.

With all these qualities,
Why should I worry about all formalities?
Formality of being a life-giver,
Formality of being a true observer;
Why should I carry all these burden?
Because after all, who am I? I am the human.
