ON THE TRAIN OF LIFE

Boarding the train of life
I take off from birth station,
Got the pre-booked seat
As I am ready to soar high;
The train whistles loud
And slowly picks up the pace,
Everyone who were in queue
Lines up for new train.

Some seated in higher class
Some in lower class,
Just like the life of man
Everything is predefined;
New faces and new minds
Some different, Some alike,
Few come closer to me
Few remain stranger to me.

The time passes by
Unknown places passes by,
Passes by the phase of life
Teaching us at every stage;
The hair grows white
The air goes out,
As we reach the end
The end, Our destination.
